Obaba Paris

OBABA is French in its creation and fabrication – the designer hails from Lille, the cotton is woven in the Vosges region especially for us, before being dyed in the Lyon area. The entire process is carried out by small, independent companies who are concerned only with quality products whilst respecting the environment. OBABA is a socially responsible company.

The name of the brand, OBABA, was invented by Louise, a 10 years old girl from Lille. OBABA has a very selective distribution to comply with the highest quality and ethical standards. We sell our products only in independent shops (concept stores, design and gift shops).

OBABA’s 100% cotton fabric is durable and very fine (but thick enough so that not a single grain of sand will pass through). OBABA is light, soft, ultra-compact (rolled up, it takes up very little space), and dries quickly. ÔBABA is also easy to use, super-resistant, and machine washable. OBABA is giant and lightweight (660g, 390g, 270g, and 190g). This is the total weight, including the 4 pegs and the elastic band to allow for even easier portability.

Finally, OBABA has always been environmentally friendly. ÔBABA manufacturing and distribution are respectful of the environmental and social standards. OBABA’s target is to produce zero waste. We work with family-run businesses and our products are distributed in independent stores, mainly located in the city centres. Reduce, recycle and reuse are the keywords to better preserve our planet.
